Loitered Lens: Reel Big Fish

Photos from the Reel Big Fish performance at the Kentish Town Forum, October 2017

Reel Big Fish

Silver linings. If there’s a whiff of 1980s hard-right bigotry in the air of late, there’s also, finally, the heady petrol fumes of grassroots resistance.

Appropriate then, that punk once more meets ska, only on much happier terms this time around. Proving that stomp and skank are natural bedfellows, Reel Big Fish tore open the Kentish Town Forum in mid-October and filled it with a boozy, circle-pitted and thoroughly righteous nexus of good times. Irie? Angry? All of the above.
