Brian Wilson, traditionally overawed by personal demons on the live circuit, could count the consolations of a NOS Primavera Porto appearance and hopefully miss the comforts of his California sandbox just a little less than usual. The familiar profile of Al Jardine at stage front may have helped assuage the distress.
