IMPRINT at the Serpentine Gallery Centre for Possible Studies
27th Jan 2012 in Events
FABELIST presents IMPRINT, a world of interweaving artworks & storytellers at Serpentine Gallery’s Centre For Possible Studies.
An exhibition where the Edible Art Movement serve drinks with a twist, while musicians and theatrical performers entice guests to participate in scenarios that test the boundaries between Reality and Fiction.
Opening festival on 27 Jan. The daytime launch event is perfect for children and adults alike, each activity providing you a chance to work with award winning artists to realize future dreams. You will be invited to throw your memories into ‘the pool of unforgotten stories’ and be whisked on your way to future stories by a magic flying balloon.
The launch evening will see stories transformed into a more adult language as the Edible Art Movement serve drinks with a twist in their story salon and the ‘paper dolls’ ditch their dungarees for party dresses.
IMPRINT is a collective exhibition and interactive arts project inspired both by the artists’ own experiences and by the stories of Church Street Neighbourhood in response to redevelopment plans, staged in a range of media, from music and art to spoken word and gastronomy.
Exhibition runs 27 Jan – 4th Feb
