Loitered Lens: Peter Hook and the Light

A duel of personalities, That stretch all true realities. Peter Hook and the Light at the Forum. Photos

Peter Hook and the Light, Kentish Town Forum September 2016

[dropcap style=”font-size:100px; color:#992211;”]I[/dropcap]n a media-fought battle of quotes and quips that looks increasingly like a social media re-enactment of the True Faith video, New Order seem unlikely to ever take to the stage in their full and original lineup.

Nevertheless, for fans, the gigs go on. Previously Trebuchet reported on New Order at the Royal Albert Hall. Now, for balance, Peter Hook and the Light at the Forum.

‘Blinding gig by Hooky with his son playing bass as well. His voice is completely different to Bernard’s, playing a lot of stuff fans want to hear that New Order don’t have the time to play, well loved b-sides etc. It’s a real shame about the animosity between them all.

The first set (see the set list attached) was tracks from New Order’s Substance. The second set was Joy Division Substance tracks. An electric feel to it all especially finishing with Atmosphere and Love will Tear us Apart.
Hooky was full of life, engaging a very enthusiastic crowd of hard core NO/JD fans (all ages).’
