Cambridge Folk Festival 2018surely must be one of the most friendly and entertaining festivals on the calendar.

The line up and running order have now been released and it looks to be one of the best ever. So get yer tankards out, it’s gonna be a hot one.

Four fun filled days of food, drink and fabulous music are on the rise.

Cambridge Folk Festival surely must be one of the most friendlyEliza Carthy and entertaining festivals on the calendar. Whether you want to set up your deckchair and watch the main stage, hunt out the next big thing on the smaller stages or join a campsite jam, it’s all there for the taking. There really is something for everyone over this long weekend, the surroundings are beautiful and the forecast is for glorious sunshine.

Some useful travel information:

BY BUS

There are regular buses running from the Train Station to Cherry Hinton Hall and between Coldham’s Common Campsite, Netherhall School and Cherry Hinton Hall.

Anyone attending the Festival is entitled to one free bus journey on arrival and one free bus journey on departure between Cambridge Rail Station and the Festival site. To claim your free journey, download and print off your bus ticket, then simply hand your free journey voucher to the driver. Buses run every 10 minutes and Citi buses are all wheelchair accessible.
Don’t forget that you will need 1 Voucher for arrival and 1 voucher for departure. Vouchers MUST be printed in advance and are not available to print or collect on site at the festival. Vouchers must be presented to the driver at the time of the journey. The cost of any journeys made without presenting the voucher will not be reimbursed by the festival.
Please note: The previous F3 service no longer operates, anyone travelling Coldham’s Common Campsite will need to use the special free buses that operate daily between Coldham’s Common and Cherry Hinton Hall and also the car park (Netherhall) and Cherry Hinton Hall.

ON FOOT OR BY BICYCLE
There are several routes from Cambridge Train Station for anyone who is walking or coming in on bicycle. See the Google Map HERE
