Loitered Lens: Peter Hook & The Light

Trebuchet visits Roundhouse on a chilly winter evening to take aim at former Joy Division and New Order bass-man Peter Hook and his band The Light.

[dropcap style=”font-size:100px; color:#992211;”]I[/dropcap]t’s a chilly winter evening. The perfect night for ex-New Order and Joy Division bass-man Peter Hook to hit Camden’s Roundhouse with some of that warming notstalgia.

Peter Hook & The Light have enjoyed a good bit of traction over the last few years in their bid to “play it all” – that is, every Joy Division and New Order album crafted before the public and unceremonious spat between Sumner and Hook – leading them to shows at Manchester’s 3500-capacity Apollo and tonight’s 1700-capacity Roundhouse date.
