Bring Me the Head of Adam Riches: Soho Theatre

13th Feb 2012 in Events

The runaway hit of the 2011 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and winner of the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award; Bring Me the Head of Adam Riches starts its five week London debut run at Soho Theatre on Monday 13 February 2012.

Crowd members racing skateboards, dodging swingballs, feeding like starlings and manhandling lizards…Adam Riches award-winning show featured the kind of audience interaction that is normally reserved for consenting adults, but this year his trademark mix of character comedy, anarchic stagecraft and live-participation-teetering-on-mild-physical-abuse was the comedy hit of Edinburgh.

As with all of Adam’s work, he has written, directed and performed Bring Me The Head of Adam Riches; characters include  Ian Dustry, an overenthusiastic agent, Pedro Azul, an internationally wanted Swingball Champ and Daniel Day Lewis, ‘the most successful actor to appear in nobody’s favorite film”! He is also developing several projects for the BBC, including a comedy entertainment show for BBC 3 and a multi-character sketch radio show for Radio 4.
